Nuts & Bolts Workshop for Teaching Artists
If you're new to teaching or just need a refresher, this workshop will help
you. Join our high qualified staff as we explore the nuts and bolts of
conducting arts integrated residencies and programs in K-12 schools. The
workshop features break-out sessions on these topics:
- Incorporating character
education curriculum
- Enhancing classroom
management skills
- Learning the culture of Title
1 schools
- Fine-tuning arts integration
lessons plan
Sessions will be led by Shelley Johnson, AHCMC’s arts integration specialist,
and Title 1staff from MCPS.
